Fabric paint is a great way to add interesting patterns, detail, and color to any fabric. This is a great way to enhance many types of craft projects. Though fabric paint is great for most uses there are a few places it won’t always give you the desired effects. For instance if you are not use to spray painting upholstery this can be a hard way to accomplish the desired results.

As it is an aerosol can and not trigger activated it can be tricky to get use to. The results also must sit for 48 hours and remain unwashed during this time so that the paint can adhere to the fabric properly and dry. However if you are comfortable using spray paint this is no different. The paint is great for many different projects because a heat setting is not required. This can save you a lot of headache in the long run. As Simply Spray paint is non-toxic kids are welcome to take part in the fun too! What is nice is that it washes off of hands and skin with warm water so it isn’t as messy as other permanent paints can be.

However if you decide to do a craft with a child (or even yourself) be sure to wear something that you don’t mind getting paint stained. The paint is obviously meant not to come out of fabric so you should apply it with great care. Overall this can be a very messy product, but if you want something that works quick this is the product for you.
